Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions (AIMS) Center

Description

A group of faculty, staff and consultants dedicated to improving the health of populations by advancing the research and implementation of Collaborative Care (CoCM), translating and researching evidence-based approaches to behavioral health integration.

American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)

Description

Member organization for family physicians with the goal of treating the whole person through family medicine, offering a variety of publicly available and members-only resources related to behavioral health integration, as well as clinical practice guidelines and recommendations.

Behavioral Health Integration & Guidance Initiative

Description

An independent and nonpartisan nonprofit organization advancing policies for accessible, effective mental health care in Texas. Promotes behavioral health integration efforts through the utilization of the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM). These efforts primarily focus on providing technical assistance tools and best practices sharing to meaningfully support care teams seeking to implement high-fidelity CoCM.

Behavioral Health Integration Collaborative

Description

A group of 12 medical associations, led by the American Medical Association (AMA), committed to ensuring a professionally satisfying, sustainable physician practice experience and which acts as a trusted partner to help physicians and their care teams overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of meeting their patients’ behavioral health needs.

Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC)

Description

A nonprofit that ensures policymakers work across party lines to craft bipartisan solutions.. The BPC promotes policies to improve access to mental health services, enhance coordination, and reduce care barriers. Their efforts focus on transforming healthcare delivery to address both mental and physical health needs through integrated, patient-focused approaches.

Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS)

Description

A nonprofit that is advancing initiatives aimed at improving the U.S. healthcare system, particularly through Medicaid.  CHCS focuses on integrating mental health and substance use services with other healthcare services, creating models for delivery system transformation. This includes improving access, quality, and outcomes for people with complex health and social needs by leveraging policy, practice, and funding strategies.

Center for Integrated Primary Care (CIPC)

Description

An organization which delivers online training and technical assistance to primary care practices and primary care team members to address the physical and mental health of their patients.

Center for Psychology & Health

Description

A center within a scientific and professional member organization that promotes psychology’s role in improving mental and physical health.  The center engages in a variety of cross-association and organizational collaborations to apply psychology's expertise to increase access to quality health care at a reduced cost.

Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions

Description

A Center funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and operated by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing that advances bi-directional primary and behavioral health care integration by providing high quality, evidence-based and evidence-informed training and technical assistance (TTA) to a national audience that includes a specific focus on the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM).
