Unhealthy Alcohol Use Tools and Resources A collection of tools and resources for managing unhealthy alcohol use in primary care, intended for use by providers, organizational leadership, other team members, and patients. Substance Use Tools and Resources The Substance Use Tools & Resources Collection is a searchable database of tools and resources available to help those who offer or use services to address substance use. The tools can be filtered by a number of factors, including use, topic, format, audience, and terms of use. Primary Care Medication-Assisted Treatment Grantees In 2016, AHRQ invested in a grant initiative to support rural primary care practices in delivering MAT. The AHRQ Academy supports these Primary Care MAT Grantees by offering technical assistance and developing and disseminating resources and information about MAT in rural primary care practices. Using the lessons learned from these projects, the Academy serves as a platform to distribute findings at the end of the grantees' research. Literature on Opioids and Substance Use The Academy Literature Collection contains more than 1,000 resources related to opioids and substance use, including journal articles, reports, clinical guidelines, fact sheets, and web resources. MAT for OUD Playbook The AHRQ Academy developed the Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder Playbook (referred to as the MAT for OUD Playbook), a practical guide for implementing MAT in primary care and other ambulatory care settings.
