Accountable care organizations (ACOs) have been shown to generate greater savings for Medicare—presumably, because of better care management and better outcomes. And primary care-led ACOs outperform their peers, generating nearly double the savings of others.

Unfortunately, the share of ACOs led by primary care teams is shrinking, preventing Medicare from leveraging the full potential of these organizations. In this webinar, participants explore potential strategies to improve primary care’s participation in ACOs.

The conversation will discuss approaches in MSSP; the new LEAD model; and other ways to help more primary care practices embrace and succeed in ACO models—leading to better outcomes, lower costs and healthier communities.
