Join the National Council for Mental Wellbeing for a second online conversation series focused on how integrated behavioral health solutions are shaping the future of mental health care, alongside their partners at the Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions (funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
This session will highlight real-world applications of the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) in treating opioid use disorder (OUD), bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) within the primary care setting. Panelists will share insights from implementation efforts, including lessons learned from clinical trials and frontline practice.
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Describe the rationale for expanding behavioral health integration through the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) to address conditions beyond depression and anxiety.
- Identify key adaptations to CoCM workflows, staffing, and measurement-informed care tools that support effective care for patients with opioid use disorder (OUD), bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in primary care settings.
- Discuss implementation challenges and lessons learned from sites that have successfully expanded the scope of behavioral health integration.
