May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to advance our commitment to effective and sustainable mental health care. As part of this effort, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is excited to introduce the Center for Mental Health Implementation Support (CMHIS), a national training and technical assistance center funded by SAMHSA.
The CMHIS can provide organizations with support and guidance implement effective, high-quality mental health services.
CMHIS and its five bi-regional Hubs help mental health leaders, program implementers, and decision makers navigate the complex process of implementing new mental health practices or ensuring that current practices are delivered effectively.
Join the CMHIS for their Welcome Event, where they will describe the free practical, tailored support we provide to overcome implementation barriers and ensure access to high-quality care. This includes tools and resources tailored to real-world practice and implementation support at the national, regional, and local levels.
