Join the National Center of Excellence for Tobacco-Free Recovery (CoE-TFR) and National Family Support Technical Assistance Center in a joint webinar where they will explore the important role that families have in supporting their loved ones with mental illness and/or substance use disorders in addressing their tobacco use.
This webinar training will describe why it is important to address tobacco use, learn facts about tobacco use and treatment, explore the unique needs of people with mental health or substance use disorders who smoke, dispel common myths related to addressing tobacco use, discuss resources available to support people on their quit journey, and engage in a powerful dialogue around the role that family members and family peers have in addressing tobacco use.

- Describe the barriers, challenges, and opportunities families and family peer support workers experience with supporting loved ones during their tobacco use quit journey.
