Road to Recovery: Improving Access to Addiction Care

More than 1 in 10 adults and 1 in 4 young adults in the U.S. have a substance use disorder. The good news is that, with the right structures in place, treatment and recovery are possible. However, substance use treatment rates continue to be extremely low, recovery may take several attempts, and increases in fentanyl continues to claim many lives in the process.

This September, for National Recovery Month, join the Bipartisan Policy Center as they look at the state of the overdose crisis in the U.S., current policy discussions in Congress, and steps to improve access to addiction services that put people on the road to recovery.
