2023 Tribal Recovery Summit

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA) Office of Tribal Affairs and Policy (OTAP) and Office of Recovery (OR) will convene a Tribal Recovery Summit on August 15-16, 2023, at the Radiance Plaza located at 1301 Young Street in Dallas, TX. 

The purpose of the summit is to share best practices and experiences related to expanding recovery-related programs and opportunities within the American Indian and Alaska Native Communities (AI/AN). The ultimate goal of the Summit is to provide all attendees with valuable insight and information that can help improve recovery-related outcomes. This includes opportunities to discuss strategies that provide evidence of successful service to the community, identify emerging and innovative areas that require focus to guide the further process, and increase shared knowledge about the approached that may transform the future of recovery in AI/AN communities nationwide.

The summit intends to have diverse geographic attendance; therefore, an in-person setting is limited in number by region and will fill up quickly so register soon. Further meeting details will be provided shortly. The deadline for registration is August 8, 2023, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
