PDMPs: Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs: programs that electronically store information for prescriptions filled by patients for drugs with misuse potential, including opioids. Four states – Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and New Mexico implemented robust PDMPs between 2012-2013.
