Provides a list of free materials, resources, services, and funding streams available to Arizona organizations working on substance use prevention, intervention, and treatment.

Provides basic information about OUD and how to assess and treat it.

Aims to expand public understanding about addiction and replace the myths and misinformation that keep substance use disorders (SUDs) from being treated like any other medical condition.

Describes interprofessional approaches to addressing the opioid epidemic, identifies opportunities and resources related to opioid prevention and treatment for interprofessional education and collaborative practice, and analyzes lessons learned in the prevention and treatment of opioid abuse for future application.

Offers a campaign to inform the public about civil rights protections that may apply to a person in recovery from an opioid use disorder and ensure that covered entities are aware of their obligation to comply with Federal nondiscrimination laws.

Allows medical students and other health professionals to use a test-and-teach module to practice their clinical skills. Describes the prevalence of prescription opioid abuse in the United States and the skills and tools clinicians can use to screen for and prevent abuse in patients with pain.

Provides training to primary care providers through text and instructional videos that address the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed in the screening, evaluation, and referral of patients with substance abuse disorders.

Provides a national training and mentoring project developed in response to the prescription opioid misuse epidemic, and offers evidence-based, educational opioid use resources for healthcare providers.

Shows State-level geographic comparisons of de-identified Medicaid opioid prescriptions filled within the United States. The mapping tool is interactive and presents Medicaid opioid prescribing rates for 2016 as well as the change in opioid prescribing rates from 2013 to 2016.
