Computer-Based Training for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT4CBT)

Uses a self-guided web-based therapy program to help people reduce or stop use of drugs or alcohol as part of comprehensive treatment programs delivered by healthcare professionals. Teaches a variety of CBT skills related to patterns of substance use behaviors, thinking, and decision making; ways to recognize and manage cravings; and actions to avoid using substances.

Enhancing Motivation for Change in Substance Abuse Treatment: Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) 35

Aims to promote awareness for the evidence base and promise of motivational interventions and shows how clinicians can influence motivation by developing a therapeutic relationship with the client. Describes different motivational interventions that can be used at all stages of change.
