OMH: Social Determinants of Health - Improving Health Outcomes Through Our Cultures, Communities, and Connections Virtual Roundtable

In honor of National Minority Health Month 2024, the HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) is hosting a virtual roundtable to learn more about social determinants of health. This roundtable will discuss the ways in which the conditions of the environments where people are born, live, learn, work, play, worship, and age affect a wide range of health, functioning, and quality-of-life outcomes and risks.

The discussion will also explore strategies and interventions to improve health outcomes for racial and ethnic minority populations and American Indian/Alaska Native communities. Audience members will be encouraged to submit questions for a 10-minute Q&A session at the end of the convening.
