Materials Exhibit: Resources on Treating Opioid Use Disorder in Special Populations

To support Florida's individuals, families, communities and practitioners, this collection of information and resources on treatment of opioid use disorder in special populations was compiled by FADAA with support from the Florida Department of Children and Families Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health. The materials are organized into three categories by population: justice Involved Individuals, veterans, and rural populations.

COEPHI Resource Center

These resources promote awareness and strengthen knowledge and skills for professionals who are seeking to understand and apply Protected Health Information privacy laws and regulations on the job and for individuals and families when accessing services.

Rural Telehealth Toolkit

This toolkit compiles evidence-based and promising models and resources to support organizations in identifying and implementing telehealth programs to address common challenges experienced in rural communities across the United States. The modules in this toolkit contain resources and information focused on developing, implementing, evaluating, and sustaining telehealth programs for rural community health programs.

Anti-Stigma Toolkit: Guide to Reducing Addiction-Related Stigma

This resource provides practical information about a variety of approaches to prevent addiction-related stigma. Some are especially simple and can be initiated by individuals on their own. These include tips on using stigma-free language and writing letters to the editor. Some approaches are comprehensive, such as developing a community action group and implementing a community-based campaign.
