Trauma-Informed Care for Opioid Use Disorder

The purpose of this document is to introduce the principles and practices of trauma-informed care (TIC) to substance use navigators. TIC is a helpful way to understand and connect with patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and can help improve the experiences and outcomes of care for both patients and the team members providing care to them.
