The U.S. Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) is seeking public comments on their research plan for a recommendation on primary care screening and behavioral counseling interventions for unhealthy alcohol use (UAU) in adolescents and adults. The draft research plan includes proposals for: an analytical framework, key questions to be systematically reviewed, contextual questions, approach to assessing health equity and variation in evidence across populations, and research approach.
The draft research plan also includes an opportunity to leave comments on these proposed ideas. The document is available for Public Comments until February 28, 2024.
