NIMHD Health Disparities Research Institute, Applications Open

Date

The Health Disparities Research Institute (HDRI), a flagship annual training program from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), which includes lectures on minority health and health disparities research, small group discussions, mock grant reviews, and seminars is open for application. Program participants will have the opportunity to meet National Institutes of Health (NIH) scientific staff engaged in health disparities research related to their interests both at NIMHD and across various NIH institutes and centers.

NIMHD’s Health Disparities Research Institute (HDRI) supports the career development of promising early-career minority health and health disparities research scientists and stimulates research in the disciplines supported by health disparities science. Applications will only be accepted from individuals who meet NIH’s early-stage investigator (ESI) eligibility criteria, and individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

For accepted applicants, the training program will take place from August 5 to August 9, 2024. Applications are due by 5pm ET on March 14, 2024.
