New NIH NIAAA Resource To Improve Care for Patients with Unhealthy Alcohol Use

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) has just launched The Healthcare Professional’s Core Resource on Alcohol, an online resource designed to help healthcare professionals improve care for patients with unhealthy alcohol use.

The Healthcare Professional’s Core Resource on Alcohol provides:

• Free CME/CE credit—up to 10.75 hours—for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, clinical psychologists, and pharmacists
• Fourteen user-friendly, practical overviews for overcoming barriers to better care for patients with unhealthy alcohol use
• Links for alcohol-related clinical guidance from Federal agencies and professional organizations
