Telehealth Webinar Series: Medications for Trauma Related Disorders

This webinar, hosted by the TeleBehavioral Health Center of Excellence, will discuss pharmacological approaches to treating trauma-related disorders, with a focus on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for youth and adults. Participants will review first-line medication options for both youth and adults, along with current evidence on the effectiveness and limitations of these treatments. The session will also highlight clinical considerations to support informed, patient-centered decision making in diverse care settings.  

Objectives: 

1. Identify first-line pharmacologic treatments for PTSD in youth and adults.
2. Evaluate evidence on the effectiveness and limitations of pharmacologic treatments for PTSD.
3. Apply clinical considerations to support patient-centered medication selection for PTSD across diverse populations.

Credits: 1 hour of ACCME, ANCC, AAPA, ASWB, APA
To receive a certificate of continuing education, participants must electronically sign-in for the session, participate in the entire live internet activity and complete the online evaluation.  Participants will be able to print your certificate after completing the evaluation.  The evaluation for this session will close two weeks from the date of the webinar.
