PCMH Distinction in Behavioral Health Integration (PCMH-BH) Office Hours Q and A Session—an open, interactive forum designed to support your Recognition journey. This session, hosted by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with NCQA experts, gain clarity on program expectations, and receive practical guidance.
Behavioral health conditions including mental illness and substance use disorders are often underdiagnosed or identified late, delaying treatment and contributing to poorer health outcomes and increased costs. Integrating behavioral health into primary care settings helps ensure earlier identification, more coordinated treatment, and improved outcomes for patients with both behavioral and chronic medical conditions.
During this session, NCQA staff will address participant's questions in real time and share insights on key processes. Whether participants are new to the program or looking to strengthen their approach, this session will provide answers to questions to support success.
What Participants Will Gain:
- A clearer understanding of the PCMH-BH Distinction requirements and expectations
- Guidance on integrating behavioral health into primary care workflows
- Opportunities to learn directly from NCQA experts and peer questions
