This webinar, hosted by the Indian Health Service (IHS) TeleBehavioral Health Center of Excellence and the IHS Clinical Support Center, discusses the SBIRT model as it applies to identifying and recognizing physical and behavioral health challenges. It also discusses the importance of referral pathways for specialized treatment and the utilization of SBIRT by a multidisciplinary team of health and behavioral health care providers.
Objectives:
1. Identify key components of the SBIRT model.
2. Examine the importance of well-defined referral pathways for specialized treatment.
3. Apply the SBIRT model in a wide variety of health care settings.
Credits include 1 hour of ACCME, ANCC, AAPA, ASWB and APA.
