SAMHSA: Partnering With Crisis Services in Early Serious Mental Illness Programs Webinar

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Early Serious Mental Illness (ESMI TTA Center) is hosting a webinar series that addresses a range of topics related to early serious mental illness (ESMI), including clinical high risk for psychosis (CHR-P) and first episode psychosis (FEP).

The 11th session of the series is a one-hour webinar that will review how ESMI clinics can partner with crisis services and discuss best practices for addressing crises that emerge in ESMI care.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Describe bidirectional collaboration between ESMI programs and community crisis programs.
• Establish pathways for referral to and from crisis services.
• Review best practices for addressing crises that may emerge in ESMI care.
