Addiction 101

This one-hour course, sponsored by Boston Medical Center Grayken Center for Addiction TTA, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (DPH/BSAS), is intended to provide foundational knowledge regarding addiction as a chronic medical condition as well as an overview of evidence-based interventions, including medications for addiction treatment (MAT). Topics include stigma, the disease model of addiction, and an overview of evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders will be provided.
