SAMHSA: Oral Health and Behavioral Health: Framework for Coordination & Integration and Success Stories

Integration of oral health and behavioral health requires a strategic framework to improve health outcomes, narrow health disparities, and lower health costs among both patients and providers. Core framework components include provider education, service provision, referrals, care management, and other integrated care activities. As more providers are exploring integrated oral health and behavioral health, a few organizations are leading the way, with success stories to share.

Please join the National Council for Behavioral Health for a webinar on Tuesday, April 27th at 3:00pm ET to discuss opportunities to break down silos and increase health equity by advancing more integrated oral and behavioral health care. Participants will also hear from two providers, Community Health Centers of South-Central Texas and Options for Southern Oregon, about their on-the-ground efforts to integrate oral and behavioral health and recent patient success stories.
