Rural health care leaders are committed to improving the health and well-being of the rural residents they serve. Creating healthy rural communities requires collaboration from health care leaders and providers, public health, social services, community and faith-based organizations, education and businesses. This session, hosted by the National Rural Health Resource Center, will highlight resources that support rural health care leaders in making effective community connections to improve the health of residents. It will feature examples of rural health care organizations that have used their collaboration superpower to improve the overall health of their communities.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand how rural health leaders serve as connectors and can improve the health of their communities.
- Understand how rural health care organization leaders and their partners can use data to identify community health needs and track progress on health improvement strategies.
- Identify available resources that support rural health care leaders in improving the health of residents and in creating more vibrant rural communities.
