AHRQ 2012 Annual Conference Included Academy PI And NIAC Members
The AHRQ Academy for Integrating Behavioral Health and Primary Care serves as a national resource for people committed to delivering integrated behavioral health care in the primary care setting. In this dynamic session, members of the National Integration Academy Council (NIAC) provided an overview of the Academy and discussed practical ways the field can use the Academy portal as a tool to become more united. In addition, this panel addressed AHRQ efforts on quality measurement, workforce development, and a large national survey—all related to integration. Benjamin Miller, University of Colorado Denver served as moderator and panelists were Neil Korsen of MaineHealth, and C.J. Peek from The University of Minnesota. The session and concluded with a brief summary from the patient's perspective provided by Regina Holliday of The Walking Gallery.
